City Leaf provides expert horticultural training to community groups, schools, organisations and individuals that are keen to improve their food growing skills.

1 - Training

We work with a range of clients, including councils, community groups and individuals. Past clients include community groups, Camden Council, Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency, SIngle Homeless Project, Kentish Town Community Centre and Trees for Life .

We tailor our training to the specific needs of each group, from beginners to the more experienced, and specialise in urban spaces - from balconies to larger growing sites across London.

TRAINERS
•    Tom Moggach is a professional teacher with seven years’ experience and a qualified food grower. He also works as a food journalist, with credits including The Guardian and Radio 4’s The Food Programme. He’s passionate about food education – both growing and cooking your harvest.

•    Chris Heath is a veteran horticulturalist with thirty years experience. He works as Education Officer at Kentish Town City Farm, is a past medal winner at Chelsea Flower Show and has a background in environmental education and horticultural therapy.

Both Tom and Chris are CRB checked. Tom is also a specialist teacher for bilingual learners.
